Welcome Back

Welcome to Geiger Elementary

Principal Scott
Dear Parents and Guardians, Welcome back to a new and exciting school year at Geiger Elementary! I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer filled with joy and relaxation. As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, I am thrilled to introduce our theme: “Growing Together, Reaching Beyond." This theme reflects our commitment to nurturing the growth of our students, educators, and community as we strive to reach new heights together. It will guide our efforts to foster collaboration, support, and innovation in all that we do.

The first day of school for students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth will be Thursday, August 1, 2024. Home Visits for Child Development students will be conducted August 1st-7th, 2024.

Please note the following enrollment dates for our Child Development students: ● Your child will be scheduled to attend a half-day of school on Thursday, August 8, or Friday, August 9. The small learning environment will allow your child to become familiar with classroom routines, interact with many of his or her classmates, and feel comfortable in the new classroom environment. Your child’s teacher will provide you with the date your child will attend school. School transportation will be provided.

● Monday, August 12, 2024 - First Day for All Child Development students

We invite all parents and guardians to our Back-to-School Meet and Greet on Monday, July 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to implement our theme by connecting with your child’s teacher and fellow families. Together, we can create a supportive and vibrant community for our students.

As a reminder, uniforms will be enforced. Uniforms are crucial in building community spirit and enhancing our learning environment by promoting equality and focusing on academics.

We are incredibly excited about the year ahead and look forward to partnering with you to pursue academic excellence for all our students. Together, we will make this year memorable and successful for every child.

Warm regards,
Gregory Scott,
Principal Geiger Elementary School
