Back to School Information 2025-2026

Student Registration must be completed through Final Forms for 2025-2026 School Year

Good afternoon Geiger Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Geiger Elementary! I trust your summer was filled with rest, joy, and quality time with loved ones. As we begin a new academic year, I am thrilled to continue our journey under the theme: “Growing Together, Reaching Beyond.” This theme is more than words; it reflects our collective mission to foster growth in every student while building strong relationships that extend beyond the classroom.

Geiger Elementary continues to thrive because of the unwavering support and involvement of our families. You, our parents and guardians, are vital partners in ensuring the success of our school community. The collaboration between home and school will remain a central part of what makes Geiger Great. When we work together, our students grow with confidence and purpose.

  • The first day of school for students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade will be Friday, August 1, 2025.

  • Our first full day of school for all Child Development students is on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Staggered start dates are scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, and Wednesday, August 6. Your child’s teacher will communicate more information about Child Development home visits and staggered start.

We are pleased to invite you to our Back-to-School Meet and Greet on Tuesday, July 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event offers a valuable opportunity for students and families to connect with teachers and staff, thereby strengthening the supportive and welcoming environment that defines our school. We are pleased to share that, while supplies last, students may receive a bookbag with some school supplies, generously donated by First Baptist Church Ridgeway.

As a reminder, school uniforms will be required and enforced. Uniforms help foster a sense of community and unity, allowing our students to focus on learning and academic growth. If you are interested in enrolling your child in the Boys and Girls Club Be Great Afterschool Program, please kindly see the attached flyer for more information.

On behalf of our entire staff, thank you for your continued trust and partnership. I am confident that with your support, we will make the 2025–2026 school year one of meaningful growth, academic achievement, and lasting memories.

Warm regards,
Principal Scott
